Coming from the five continents around the world, AquaSur’ exhibitors are mostly businessmen, suppliers of services, products and equipment for the aquaculture industry. These people come to the south of Chile to share knowledge and experiences, generate new contacts and learn more about the industry’s expansion.
AquaSur is an international fair sponsored by the Chilean Government; therefore, exhibitors have the right to import merchandise into the country on a temporary basis (a period of 180 days) without paying any taxes or custom duties.
Thanks to its international relevance and reputation, companies take advantage of this event to build up links, and to generate and pin down national and international businesses.
Exhibitors may apply to be part of a cycle of presentations that will be made in each version of the fair (see details in the section Exhibitor’s lectures).
